Crystal Dawn Smith Rilee

"My goal is to provide everyone access to a turn-of-the-century farm, as well as protect these 400 acres from encroaching urban development."

~ Crystal Rilee

Welcome to Rilee Park!

Bob and Crystal Rilee Park is a ~325-acre public property on Parrett Mountain between Newberg, Sherwood, and Wilsonville, Oregon. It's named in honor of Crystal Rilee — the last descendant of the historic Parrett family to be born and raised on the land.

Today, it represents roughly 44% of total land holdings of the Chehalem Park & Recreation District.

This page provides a clear, accessible summary of how the property was acquired, along with direct links to original documents, public records, and source materials. Our goal is to make the full history of the Rilee Park purchase transparent and easy for the community to explore.
